Founded in 1984, James G. Staat Tuckpointing Inc., is a union contractor that provides tuckpointing, masonry reconstruction, water-repellents, air barrier systems, joint sealants, fire caulking, graffiti removal, and brick cleaning on vintage buildings.
We have been saving buildings from the harsh Midwest elements since 1984, while simultaneously operating with the can-do attitude and attention to detail only a family-owned and operated company can provide. Our work is seamless and invisible – the trademark of quality masonry restoration. We have a desire to protect and restore the Midwest’s most beautiful and historic buildings while maintaining their community’s heritage.
